Code should be savory.

Karlie 1 | kärˈlē |

  1. a person whose occupation is making code as tasty as possible.
  2. someone who loves the device, the human and everything in between: That Karlie sure knows how to develop applications that both work and look great!

Origin: Austin, Texas: perhaps from south of the river and slightly east.

  • karlied | kärˈlēd | adjective.
  • karlieism | kärˈlēizəm | noun.

Hi, I'm Karlie. I have a passion for software development and a determination to write code that is elegant and create human experiences that feel great.

I've spent much of my career developing web applications. Whether it's a RESTful API or a single page application (often both), I enjoy both directly contributing code to an excellent piece of software and leading others to do so.

You get better when surrounded by the right people. I want to be part of a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals.

Satisfaction comes from doing something that matters. I want the code I write to be purposeful. I want it to solve a real problem or bring pleasure to someone - maybe even make a positive difference on this planet.
